Is it just me or are those some sexy looking tomatoes?

I remember overhearing someone at a farmers market thinking these tomatoes were deformed, oh what ignorance! I hope they read this post.

I’m not a huge tomato fan.. I mean, I love tomatoes, but not so much by themselves – until last year when we planted an heirloom plant. What a difference from the rest of your garden variety tomatoes! I fell in love with the look of them and then tasted.. I am now an addict and I can totally relate to your post. Fabulous job and beautiful pictures!

i think your theory about eve partaking of the fruit of the tree of knowledge was right on; seeing as the tomato was called the “love apple” for centuries and centuries and has only in the last hundred or so years come to be known as the tomato, eve more than likely didn’t pluck an apple from the tree of knowledge; she plucked a *love apple* from the tree of knowledge.
