Nervous? Party of One?

by Matt on September 12, 2008

I probably don’t have to tell you how much I love Martha Stewart, right? So I probably won’t have to tell you how thrilled I am to be a guest on The Martha Stewart Show’s 4th brand-spankin’-new season next Wednesday, September 17th.

Folks, Martha’s done all us blogging types proud by featuring an entire show about blogging! Join me, Deb of Smitten Kitchen, Perez Hilton and Margaret Roach of A Way To Garden for what’s bound to be a very interesting hour of television.  And please, when I stand there in front of a camera and freeze from the nerves and excitement of it all, will you please please please go easy on me? Don’t poke fun. Well, not too much. Please?

Check your local listings for exact showtimes. And don’t miss the Season Premiere on Monday direct from Martha’s house.

See you soon!

Hi Matt,

I’m in the audience. How tired are you of smiling for that camera? The cookies looked good though.

Looking forward to a great show. Break a leg.

I just watched your segment on the show and loved the Alfajores recipe. I have to try them. Que delicioso.

Matt, just saw the segment. You were soooooo cute with your prim little v-neck and glasses. Very sexy librarian. You almost out-Martha’d Martha, and you know how much I lurve the alfajores. Excellent choice, you are a supastar!!

Loved your appearance on Martha’s blog show. I have never been to your blog, but I am having a great time “exploring”. I say do the cookbook! It certainly would make it easier for those of us who haven’t read your blog to catch up with all of your wonderful recipes and GORGEOUS food photos! YUM!

Thanks for your blogging!

Just watched Martha and I thought you were great! Gotta try me that cookie!

Katrina September 17, 2008 at 9:19 am

Question for you. So I just looked up your recipe for “the” cookie-the yummy looking caramely ones and it says shortening, but on Martha you used butter. Does it not matter which one? Thanks.

As your biggest Philadelphia fan I had the privilege to see you before your California did! GREAT JOB! I missed not seeing Adam in the audience but knew he had to be close. The cookies looked fabulous, I know Granny would want to taste the new “twist” to the old cookie.

But, AHH! I missed it. How do I watch??

Lyann September 20, 2008 at 2:39 am

So glad I watch the show the other day! You are now bookmarked on my computer.
Love your recipes, I have to try them soon. You are better than buying a new cookbook. Well, if you had one I would buy it.
I too am a fellow blogger….actually a private blogger. I have a little girl and there are some c-r-a-z-y people out there.
BTW besides being half Mexician, I assumed half because you only mention your dad’s side, what is your other half? Just curious.
