November’s Everyday Food

Hi folks! Just a little quick post to tell you know about this month’s Everyday Food Magazine! I’ve got a quick little feature as well as a new favorite holiday side dish that I will be serving this year! It’s Sweet Potato Fries with Brown-Butter Marshmallow Sauce and you can find it on page 33 of the November issue!

There’s also a few extra questions in the ipad version of Everyday Food as well as the blog, You can read it here! As usual the magazine is filled with fantastic recipes appropriate for the season and I don’t know about you but I can’t wait to make the Turkey & Mashed Potato Potpie that is on the cover. Heck to the yes.

    Um, sweet potato fries w/brown butter marshmallow sauce sounds out of this world fantastic! I always love how you make food so fun, and this is a great way to revamp the traditional yams + marshmallow dish. Plus, what a great pic of you in Everyday Food!

    The peanut butter marshmallow sauce sounds…heavenly!

    A lot better than the crickets or silkworms you mentioned…whoa. Hardcore. Are you sure you weren’t a contestant on Survivor?

    Matt! I have subscribed to EDF since happening upon in during college and own EVERY issue!

    Anyway, I shrieked when I saw your recipe, dog-eared it (since I do a mini, monthly review of standout-EDF recipes on my website), and am serving it for brunch this weekend alongside the egg/veggie saute in the ‘Eating Smart’ issue.

    Gosh, after rereading this, I realized I am quite the nerd. But that’s ok. :)

    Congrats! The brown-butter marshmallow sauce looks amazing. I like the twist on tradition, and I can think of a ton of things to dip with it.
